Nuestras hortalizas, sobre todo las lechugas, acelgas o espinacas tambi\u00e9n necesitan protecci\u00f3n. En esta entrada te contamos c\u00f3mo hacerlo.<\/p>\n<p>Seg\u00fan los <a href=\"http:\/\/www.aemet.es\/documentos\/es\/serviciosclimaticos\/datosclimatologicos\/atlas_climatico\/Mapas_de_riesgo_2002-2012_WEB.pdf\">informes de AEMET<\/a>, las <span style=\"color: #333399\"><strong>primeras heladas<\/strong><\/span> llegan a Madrid <span style=\"color: #333399\"><strong>entre<\/strong> <\/span>el <span style=\"color: #333399\"><strong>1 y el 15 de diciembre<\/strong><\/span>. Por ello, a comienzo de este mes debemos <span style=\"color: #333399\"><strong>proteger nuestros sistemas de riego por goteo y los cultivos del huerto escolar<\/strong><\/span>.<\/p>\n<p>Las heladas pueden ocasionar varios da\u00f1os a nuestro sistema de riego por goteo:<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #333399\"><strong>Tuber\u00edas:<\/strong><\/span> el polietileno es un material con cierta flexibilidad y puede expandirse bajo presi\u00f3n, pero el agua que permanezca dentro puede congelarse y romper las paredes de las tuber\u00edas.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #333399\"><strong>Programadores de grifo:<\/strong> <\/span>tienen una nula resistencia a heladas, dado que el agua queda dentro del programador, aun cuando est\u00e1 parado. El aumento del tama\u00f1o del agua al convertirse en hielo revienta el programador por dentro, quedando \u00e9ste inutilizable.<\/p>\n<p>Para minimizar estos da\u00f1os para el invierno es necesario acondicionar el sistema de riego con unas sencillas acciones, que ser\u00e1n diferentes, dependiendo de si tu programador es de grifo o de arqueta:<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #333399\"><strong>Apagar el sistema de riego en la arqueta<\/strong>:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #333399\"><strong>Encontrar<\/strong> <\/span><strong><span style=\"color: #333399\">arqueta<\/span> <\/strong>de riego.<\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #333399\"><strong>Localizar la llave de paso<\/strong> <\/span>y el <strong><span style=\"color: #333399\">programador<\/span> <\/strong>dentro de la arqueta.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-large wp-image-6095\" apagarlo, gracias a unos v\u00eddeos explicativos.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"color: #333399\"><strong>Apagar el sistema de riego en el grifo:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #333399\"><strong>Cerrar la llave de paso.<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #333399\"><strong>Q<\/strong><strong>uitar o proteger el programador<\/strong> <\/span>con necesario regar por falta de lluvias, regaremos siempre en las horas centrales del d\u00eda (a diferencia del resto de estaciones).<\/p>\n<p>Para <span style=\"color: #333399\"><strong>proteger nuestras hortalizas<\/strong> <\/span>de las heladas, podemos colocar <span style=\"color: #333399\"><strong>mantas t\u00e9rmicas<\/strong><\/span>, formando t\u00faneles de cultivo. Como alternativa, tambi\u00e9n podemos reutilizar botellas ubic\u00e1ndolas en los cultivos m\u00e1s peque\u00f1os, facilitando siempre alg\u00fan tipo de aireaci\u00f3n por medio de agujeros.
