{"id":2125,"date":"2020-01-29T07:34:17","date_gmt":"2020-01-29T07:34:17","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/diario.madrid.es\/hortaleza\/?p=2125"},"modified":"2020-01-31T08:25:25","modified_gmt":"2020-01-31T08:25:25","slug":"mas-actividades-para-promover-el-compostaje-comunitario","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/diario.madrid.es\/hortaleza\/2020\/01\/29\/mas-actividades-para-promover-el-compostaje-comunitario\/","title":{"rendered":"M\u00e1s actividades para promover el compostaje comunitario"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>El compostaje no es s\u00f3lo transformar los residuos org\u00e1nicos en <strong>abono natural<\/strong>, sino la toma de conciencia de que reutilizando y adquiriendo h\u00e1bitos sostenibles contribuiremos al cuidado de nuestro medio ambiente.<\/p>\n<p>En esta l\u00ednea, y gracias a las infraestructuras que ya posee, la <strong>Junta Municipal de Hortaleza<\/strong> -presidida por el concejal Alberto Serrano- ha suscrito un convenio de colaboraci\u00f3n con la Asociaci\u00f3n de Compostaje Comunitario para la realizaci\u00f3n de talleres, cursos y actividades en centros educativos y espacios municipales de modo que se fomente el <strong>compostaje<\/strong> como medio de reciclaje de residuos org\u00e1nicos para alcanzar la<strong> sostenibilidad ambiental<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Hortaleza cuenta con tres puntos para el compostaje. Uno de ellos es el <strong>\u00c1rea de Compostaje Comunitario<\/strong> de la calle Arequipa, el primero de toda la ciudad de Madrid. Dispone de 3 composteras de 600 litros donde las bacterias convierten la basura en <strong>compost<\/strong> que luego los vecinos distribuyen entre jardines comunitarios, macetas y los huertos comunitarios del distrito. Otro punto se sit\u00faa en el <strong>Centro Integrado Santiago Ap\u00f3s<\/strong><strong>tol<\/strong> (calle Carri\u00f3n de los Condes, 73) y el m\u00e1s reciente, en el <strong>Huerto Comun<\/strong><strong>itario <\/strong>de <strong>Manoteras<\/strong> (calle Cuevas de Almanzora, 197).<\/p>\n<div id='gallery-1' class='gallery galleryid-2125 gallery-columns-3 \/><\/a>\n\t\t\t<\/div><\/figure>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\n<p>Gracias a este convenio, la Asociaci\u00f3n de Compostaje Comunitario gestionar\u00e1 las tres \u00e1reas de compostaje instaladas, adem\u00e1s de desarrollar <strong>actividades educativas<\/strong>, <strong>l\u00fadicas <\/strong>y<strong> culturales<\/strong> para promover la gesti\u00f3n responsable de los residuos org\u00e1nicos, como parte de una educaci\u00f3n para concienciar sobre la protecci\u00f3n del medio ambiente y la sostenibilidad del mismo. Adem\u00e1s, la Junta Municipal de Hortaleza buscar\u00e1 nuevas ubicaciones para la instalaci\u00f3n de m\u00e1s espacios de compostaje.<\/p>\n<p>El distrito de Hortaleza es pionero en compostaje comunitario con la inauguraci\u00f3n en 2017 del \u00e1rea de la calle Arequipa, donde son los propios vecinos los que se organizan desde entonces gestionado de manera responsable los residuos que generan es sus casas y llevando la materia org\u00e1nica a las composteras. El abono natural resultante se utiliza para nutrir huertos urbanos y jardines comunitarios. Gracias a este convenio se van a realizar las gestiones necesarias para que el sobrante de compost se utilice en los parques y jardines de
