{"id":5936,"date":"2026-09-09T12:50:26","date_gmt":"2026-09-09T10:50:26","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/diario.madrid.es\/cieaelretiro\/?p=5936"},"modified":"2026-09-09T12:50:26","modified_gmt":"2026-09-09T10:50:26","slug":"xiii-concurso-de-calabazas","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/diario.madrid.es\/cieaelretiro\/xiii-concurso-de-calabazas\/","title":{"rendered":"XIII Concurso de Calabazas"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Arrancan los preparativos para la<span style=\"color: #ff6600\"><strong> Fiesta de la Calabaza de 2026<\/strong><\/span>.<\/p>\n<p>Se realizar\u00e1 como anta\u00f1o: con talleres familiares , m\u00fasica en vivo, la Feria de Productores Agroecol\u00f3gicos y celebrando a su vez el XIII Concurso de Calabazas.<\/p>\n<p>Tendr\u00e1 lugar el <strong><span style=\"color: #ff6600\">s\u00e1bado 17 de octubre <\/span><\/strong>en nuestras instalaciones en horario de <span style=\"color: #ff6600\"><strong>10 a 15h.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #ff6600\">\u00a1Novedad!<\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Este a\u00f1o el concurso incluir\u00e1 <strong>un tercer premio.\u00a0<\/strong>Adem\u00e1s de la Calabaza m\u00e1s grande y m\u00e1s rara, se premiar\u00e1 a la <strong>Calabaza m\u00e1s grande procedente de un Huerto Urbano de Madrid<\/strong>, ya sea <strong>Comunitario <\/strong>o <strong>Escolar<\/strong>. Se busca con ello poner en valor no solo lo que se produce sino c\u00f3mo se produce y con qu\u00e9 fines. Los huertos comunitarios no tienen como objetivo principal obtener la mejor cosecha ni los frutos m\u00e1s grandes, sino generar valores de convivencia y recursos educativos. Por ello, si adem\u00e1s de gestionar vecindario, alumnado, familias y visitantes&#8230; se obtiene una gran cosecha, el m\u00e9rito es doble \u00a1o triple!<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><em>Calabaza m\u00e1s grande de un Huerto Urbano. <\/em>La calabaza debe proceder de un Huerto Urbano de Madrid, tanto Huerto Comunitario como Huerto Escolar. Se pesan las calabazas por el equipo educativo del Centro utiliz\u00e1ndose la misma b\u00e1scula en todas las medidas.<\/li>\n<li><em>Calabaza m\u00e1s grande. <\/em>Participan todas las calabazas presentadas, se pesan aquellas que no se hayan pesado en la categor\u00eda anterior.<\/li>\n<li><em>Calabaza m\u00e1s rara. <\/em>De entre todas las calabazas recibidas el alumnado del curso anual de Huerto Ciudadano 2026 elegir\u00e1 la que m\u00e1s le llame la atenci\u00f3n.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Se podr\u00e1n<strong> entregar del 1 al 14 de octubre<\/strong>. M\u00e1s all\u00e1 del premio econ\u00f3mico es un magn\u00edfico escaparate para dar a conocer el proyecto o huerto a toda la comunidad hortelana de Madrid, entre la que se encuentran Calabazas\u00a0<\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Una vez finalizado el concurso se montar\u00e1 una exposici\u00f3n con todas las calabazas presentadas. Se ubicar\u00e1 en la Sala de Exposiciones del Centro y estar\u00e1 visible hasta finalizar las Navidades. La sala se decorar\u00e1 con elementos de naturaleza y de huerta. Cada calabaza se mostrar\u00e1 con una ficha que explique cual es el huerto del origen.
