Despu\u00e9s del par\u00f3n de actividades en el \u00faltimo a\u00f1o debido a la pandemia por Covid, este a\u00f1o ha vuelto a celebrarse el Cross Escolar que ya va por su d\u00e9cimo cuarta edici\u00f3n, organizado por la junta municipal del distrito.<\/p>\n<p>La celebraci\u00f3n del Cross supone una vuelta a la normalidad que se va retomando paulatinamente y que agradecen los j\u00f3venes estudiantes. Como siempre, el entusiasmo y alegr\u00eda por participar ha inundado el desarrollo de la carrera.<\/p>\n<p>Procedentes de 13 colegios del distrito, unos 2.100 escolares dieron cita el pasado viernes en el estadio Vallehermoso, ocupando unas instalaciones inauguradas en 2019 que hacen las delicias de los deportistas y que, en este caso, lo tienen muy cerca porque se ubica en el distrito en el que estudian.<\/p>\n<p>Es la segunda vez que los escolares de Chamber\u00ed utilizan las instalaciones del Vallehermoso y se nota que les gusta. Corriendo por este espacio se han sentido como si fueran aut\u00e9nticos deportistas profesionales en una pista perfecta para la competici\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p>Los j\u00f3venes corredores son ni\u00f1os y ni\u00f1as que cursan desde 3\u00ba de Primaria hasta 2\u00ba de la ESO en estos 13 centros: La Salle de San Rafael, Asunci\u00f3n Rinc\u00f3n, Cervantes, Chamber\u00ed, Claudio Moyano, Divina Pastora, Liceo Italiano, El Porvenir, Fernando el Cat\u00f3lico, Nicoli, Rufino Blanco, San Crist\u00f3bal y Santa Mar\u00eda del Yermo.<\/p>\n<p>Los participantes pertenec\u00edan a tres categor\u00edas, Benjam\u00edn, Alev\u00edn e Infantil. Las dos primeras han tenido que dar dos vueltas a la pista de 400 metros, mientras que los m\u00e1s mayores, categor\u00eda Infantil, han recorrido 1.200 metros de distancia, dando la vuelta tres veces. Por parte de la Junta Municipal de Chamber\u00ed se ha hecho entrega de trofeos a los ganadores, consistentes en una copa para el primero, segundo y tercer clasificado de cada categor\u00eda y medallas para todos los participantes. Tanto trofeos como medallas, por separado, para modalidades femenina y masculina. Los colegios recib\u00edan una placa conmemorativa.<\/p>\n<p>La prueba ha resultado un \u00e9xito gracias a la colaboraci\u00f3n de profesores y alumnos junto al trabajo del personal municipal. Con eventos como este, el Ayuntamiento de Madrid trata de fomentar la pr\u00e1ctica deportiva desde edades tempranas, adem\u00e1s de promover valores esenciales como la convivencia y el compa\u00f1erismo.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Vallehermoso, estadio para el deporte base y de \u00e9lite <\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>En 2019 abri\u00f3 sus puertas el nuevo estadio Vallehermoso, ubicado en nuestro distrito, ocupando el espacio del viejo estadio de atletismo que se encontraba en el mismo solar. Se inaugur\u00f3 con la celebraci\u00f3n del Meeting Madrid 2019.<\/p>\n<p>Para el distrito es un lujo contar con esta instalaci\u00f3n deportiva y m\u00e1s para los practicantes. El Ayuntamiento tiene firmados contratos con escuelas y otras entidades deportivas para que muchos vecinos puedan practicar sus deportes favoritos, as\u00ed como los estudiantes de centros educativos de la zona.
